Short biography of Sarah Jessica Parker:

Sarah Jessica Parker was born in Ohio (1965) and had 8 siblings of the half and the full kind. The interesting but unfortunate bit about her lineage is that Esther Elwell, one of the women who was accused of being a witch and tried in the Salem witch trials, was her ancestor. She began acting at a very early age. Her career swung upwards in 1990s and she starred opposite Nicholas Cage, Bruce Willis, and Johnny Depp too!

However, she’s best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City, which was first aired in 1998. Sex and the City was an HBO sitcom, which brought her awards and fame.

Sarah has also endorsed some important brands (Garnier, Gap…) and in 2005, she even released her own perfume called, “Lovely”.

Her lovelife between 1984 and 1991 was centered on Robert Downey, Jr. (Something that I can’t understand is how can someone go through his whole life lugging someone else’s name with a Junior attached to it! I guess this must’ve been the real reason behind Downey’s drug problem, which ultimately terminated his relationship with Ms. Parker.) In 1997, she married Matthew Broderick.

Sarah Jessica Parker in News:

“I Don’t Know How She Does It” a movie based on a book by Allison Pearson will feature Sarah starring opposite Pierce Brosnan. The movie is expected to be in theaters by 2012. SJP plays a finance executive who is the breadwinner for her family, which includes her husband and children.

Read about it here.
Sarah J Parker made it to the top of the ugliest women list published by the Men’s Magazine Maxim. However, not everyone agrees – she’s got boat-loads of fans who think she’s witty and charming. (Remember something about beauty being skin-deep? This is especially true when men sit down to assess beauty!)

Sarah Jessica Parker Quotes:

Here’s a really cool SJP quote:
“After all, computers crash, people die, relationships fall apart. The best we can do is breath and reboot.”
and another one…
“I like my money right where I can see it… hanging in my closet.”
and finally…
“Can you really forgive if you can’t forget?”

The woman has a head on her shoulders…right?

  2. She definitely looks like Sarah the Witch and yup I have no idea about the serial you mentioned 😳 Talk to me about Desperate Housewives and I might give some gyan ful comments on that 😛

Ps: am pretty sure that you can sketch an awesome caricature of all the housewives in one frame.

    • Never saw the serial…but saw a movie in which she was one of the three witches of Salem (“Hocus Pocus” I think.) Personally, I am not too keen on housewives of the desperate variety:)

  3. Wow Shafali,

Now Sarah looks a bit like her ancestor, the witch….in that cariacature…..I’m not sure about that industrial bra that she has on…..it looks very uncomfortable.

I am just waiting to see if she wiggles that ample nose of hers and creates a spell or some form of devilment just like Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery)did on Bewitched. I never really watched “Sex and the City”…way too cheap to spring for HBO….but she seems to be talented enough to have been in 2 “Sex and the City” movies along with Mr Big.

    Great Job!

    • Thankfully her ancestor was found “not-guilty” and spared.
I haven’t ever watched the serial, but I happened to watch her film “Hocus Pocus” in which she’s played one the three witches of Salem. I think she’s got a lot of energy and if she’s made a name for herself, despite her not being the drop-dead-gorgeous kinds – she must be good at acting too:)

That industrial bra must be uncomfortable, I agree. I just drew it without putting a lot of thought into it…I guess 😦

      Thanks for commenting, Nancy:)

      • Aish is most beautiful but Sarah is beautiful too. 😀 Yes, Shafali said it right. Beauty is not skin deep. It’s in gray cells too. Now don’t threaten me to scare me with your picture please. 😀

PS: Ok Sakshi can you teach me your sense of humor? It’s awesome and I’m your fan. 😀 Teach me please and then I’ll impress girls in my class. 😛

      • ahem..cough..cough..haa 😛 Ajay let me tell you the story of how I got hold of the so called sense of humour for which you are spinning like a fan over me

All you need to do is get married to an IITian who hardly opens his mouth (except to eat 🙄 ) and stick with him for like 11 years (yawn) 🙄 . I assure you will develop a sense of humour out of sheer boredom of talking to yourself 😥

eeeeee I just realised that you will never ever be able to even sniff that sense of humour coz you are an IITian too 😳 *faints*

Shafali you take me under your Easel and we both can colourfully laugh away to glory 😆

      • Ah now I know the secret behind your humor. 😀 Okay so now you know coders don’t like to talk much. Why should they waste energy in that! They love listening to their dear ones though and never get bored of their talks  The bitter truth – I can never acquire your humor skills and I’ll remain boring as ever! 😦
